Would you like to be more involved in the running of the KC Clay Guild?

Interested in serving on a not-for-profit board?

 

How it works: Per our bylaws, we elect 10 board members and, once elected, those ten Board members determine who fills what roles. The new board would sit from May 2019 through April 2020. Positions include:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Building Maintenance Chair
  • Publicity Chair
  • Educational Chair
  • Workshops and Events Chair
  • Gallery Chair
  • Membership Chair

 

What's involved in serving on the board? We ask that you attend monthly board meetings (approximately 2 hours per month), join or lead at least one committee (such as Raku planning, Building Improvements, TeaBowl National, etc.) and volunteer at no less than three other clay guild events (i.e. raku night, organizing the holiday sale, etc.) It varies by position but most board positions require a commitment of at least 6-10 hours per month.
