KC Clay Guild is proud to host potter, Jack Troy for a two-day workshop in conjunction with the 2016 KCCG Teabowl National.  

Jack will throw and alter the teabowl-like objects he is currently making, in addition to making a variety of other forms in his repertoire. In addition he will give two PowerPoint presentations of contemporary Japanese teabowls, and lead discussions on the challenges and rewards of investing personal expression in clay. He has asked that participants bring with them a clay object they have lived with for several years or more that has special meaning to them.

The workshop runs from 9 AM - 4 PM on Saturday, August 27th and Sunday, August 28th.
