Teapot Masterclass - Hands On

Hamish will demonstrate how he makes a range of teapots: from small Gong Fu teapots to Japanese style kyushu and larger English style ones. Hamish will throw the parts in the morning and then put the teapots together in the afternoon. There will be ample time for questions and discussion. And tea of course!

This is a hands on workshop. Participants will have time to throw teapot parts in the morning with guidance from Hamish. After lunch Hamish will demonstrate assembly and then students will have time to assemble with his support.

This workshop is best for intermediate to advanced students. The ability to center clay on the wheel and form a cylinder are required for participation in the hands on aspect of this workshop. Cone 10 clay and firing are included in the workshop cost.

Members - $110 | Non-Members $150
