This workshop gives students a hands-on opportunity to learn the process of marbling clay to be used in their studio practice.  After a demo, Abby will guide students through creating vessels using two colors of clay. Clay and tools will be provided for this workshop.  Abby will teach marbling techniques and basic nerikomi and walk through hand-building a piece using your clay. Wheel throwing with marbled clay will not be discussed in this workshop, but the skills you learn could easily be applied to your own wheel thrown work in the future.
