Minsoo Yuh was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. She earned her BFA and MFA in
Ceramics from Hongik University. After completing her education, she relocated to the
United States and has since maintained an active studio practice.
Currently based in Athens, Georgia, Minsoo is a full-time studio potter who also teaches
workshops and classes. She presents her work through gallery exhibitions and pottery
tours nationwide and participates in artist residencies in the U.S. and abroad. Her work
reflects an engagement with emotion, memory, and observations of life and human
nature, conveyed through the raw, expressive potential and intrinsic qualities of clay.
